Anesthesia Exposure and the Risk of Alzheimer’s Disease ($500,000)

Recent animal studies have suggested that exposure to one of the anesthetic gasses may increase the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease. In this study, we propose to follow a large group of elderly patients who have been exposed to the anesthetic gas in question to determine if they do, in fact, develop Alzheimer’s disease as a consequence of that exposure.
