DREAM CAMPAIGN SUPPORTS 11 RESEARCH FUNDING PRIORITIES
iPEGASUS ($250,000)
The International Perioperative Genetics and Safety Outcomes Study (iPEGASUS) is an international consortium of medical centers based in the United States, United Kingdom, China, Oman, India, Australia, Singapore, South Africa and Chile. Its goal is to analyze genetic samples (saliva) in over 25,000 patients to understand how genetic variation influences organ injury across the world. The iPEGASUS effort is directed by the Department of Anesthesiology at Duke and all data will be stored and managed by Duke investigators.
